MEDICAL & CORRECTIONAL

AREOLA RECONSTRUCTION, ALOPECIA, VITILIGO, ALBINOS & CHEMOTHERAPY PATIENTS

While Micropigmentation is most often known as a method of achieving fabulous brows, eyeliners and lips, there are is a wide range of medical & correctional tattooing too, namely to alleviate the hair-loss effect of chemotherapy and alopecia, restore the areola following breast surgery, to camouflage scars – including disguising cleft lip scarring – to treat vitiligo, or to give back visible brows to albinos patients.

My wife suffered from alopecia following a chemotherapy in Mombassa. Her brows were done by Victoria at Victoria Beauty and they are amazing! We traveled from Mombassa for these appointments and will continue to do so in the future.

EYEBROW & EYELINER TATTOOING FOR ALOPECIA & CHEMOTHERAPY HAIR LOSS

Alopecia is a devastating auto-immune disorder affecting many men and women throughout the world resulting in hair loss on part or all of theira bodies. We are able to use our brow and eyeliner treatments to alleviate the effects of hair-loss, cheating the appearance of natural hairstroke eyebrows and lash lines to boost confidence.

Permanent Makeup treatments are also increasingly being endorsed by oncologists as a way of helping patients to feel more positive about the traumatic experience of chemotherapy.

Pre-chemotherapy we can capture the appearance of the patient’s natural brows and lashes in order to recreate them if necessary, giving patients back some control at a difficult and distressing time in their lives. These treatments can be performed before, during (providing the consent of the oncologist is given in writing) and after chemotherapy.

3D AREOLA RECONSTRUCTION

Permanent Makeup can be the final step back to normality after breast reconstruction or augmentation by using cosmetic tattooing to restore the areola and camouflague scarring with amazing results.  After a plastic surgeon implement a 3D Nipple prothesis, an areola and/or nipple can be tattooed in a colour to closely match the patients own, creating 3-Dimensional, realistic and natural looking results.

Although ideal for most kinds of breast surgery (including augmentation, reduction and uplift treatments, as well as post-breast cancer), some women may just want to darken a naturally light areola. Permanent Makeup provides the perfect solution and is undetectable from natural colour.

PERMANENT MAKEUP TO TREAT ALBINISM

Permanent Makeup can be a life-changing experience for people with albinism. Albinos people can use microblading, ombre, shading, and other permanent eyebrows, as well as permanent eyeliner and permanent lipblush to increase the contrast of their natural beauty.

For permanent eyebrows, the white-colored brows are shaved, and a light brown ink is applied instead, necessitating very limited maintenance.

Permanent black eyeliner is applied to give strength to the eyes, complementing perfectly some eyelashes and makeup.

Finally, permanent lip blush covers the irregularity of color of the lips, giving the lips a natural look.

Through the application of this technique in Albino people, we improve the quality of life and self-esteem of people with this condition and allow their uniqueness to shine.
